The tree is up

We finally ventured into fake tree country, but I don't think it turned out too bad.

It took a bit to fluff the branches out so they looked good.

nice tree!

We have a fake tree too, but it's just barely 6 feet tall. We got the small one because the kids would have a hayday with a big one, and we didn't want to have to bother with a huge tree when we had smaller space.

Now that we are in a house, it would be nice to have a bigger tree I suppose. Alli still thinks the tree is HUGE. 6 feet tall is huge to a little girl.

Thanks for posting a picture. It is always fun to see everyone's tree. I still don't have ours up yet. Will have to post later. Although it looks the same every year. So, no one would know if I posted a picture from last year. :) Yours is very pretty. It doesn't look fake at all--one of the fuller more realistic ones I've seen. Nice!

Hey, your fake tree looks great. And its so big. We have a 6 footer too, and a skinny one at that (our ceilings are only 7 ft tall). I'm with Earlene--if I posted last years pix, no one would know. . . Of course, since I never post pix, no one knows anyway :) One of these days.

It is great to see your ornaments. It would be fun to see some closeup pixs of your faves. I love ornaments and trees.

Love, sandra

Great looking tree.

I'm with everyone else - our tree looks pretty much the same as last year....other than the ornaments that are all messed up (thanks to Hunter) and the strands of beeds and wicker swags that he's torn down....

I sure do love artificial trees. Every year Cory seems to feel a bit sad that we don't have a real one - but I am always so grateful that I don't have to pick up the mess from a real one :). I also LOVE our pre-light one - it's a life saver!

Your tree looks great. It is work to get the branches all fluffed, but it is worth it.

You have such an elegant space in that room to display your tree. I can imagine how it really highlights the room and the design of your house.

I used to always have my tree the same, but now I like to change it out - some years I do a blue and silver tree, some years all homemade ornaments, some years no lights, etc. As strict as I am about traditions, you would think my tree would be a duplicate every year, but I like to change it now.

Love mom
