It's the 4th of July weekend and the BBQ is getting fired up. We're pulled pork and potato salad for our BBQ. What is everyone else making for their weekend?
Since I have this blog on Google reader, I was able to see that someone posted on here even though I don't usually check here.
For the 4th, we're not planning a whole lot because our anniversary is the next day, and we generally focus on making that celebration before we focus on the 4th.
We're having a big breakfast party on the fourth, and then we'll go to a neighborhood parade.
We've got some fun plans for our 5th anniversary this Saturday. We're excited about the upcoming weekend because this last week has been crazy at work!
We're having some nice rib eyes that we got yesterday, and we'll bbq them, and have fruit salad, and a fresh cucumber from the greenhouse. mmmm. Oh, and maybe a potato salad, that's always nice on a long weekend, so that people can eat as they want to. I made a double batch of grandma's potato salad last time I made it, and it was perfect for all of us for a few days. Other than that....not much going on. I think we're hauling some more firewood. Hmm, now that I'm thinking about it, maybe I'll make some fresh goat milk ice cream. Good idea on using the blog Blake! Love you all. Alicia and Justin
